Barcelona and the famous Spanish Costa Brava remains one of our most popular destinations for a school music tour. Barcelona is a fantastic cosmopolitan city with loads to see and do. With a terrific musical and artistic tradition, the city also retains its historic Gothic centre with strong cultural influences. What’s more you can enjoy the fabulous sights and sounds of the Catalan capital as well as the leisure attractions on the coast, meaning there’s something here for everyone at any time of year.

Visits & Excursions

Barcelona is a fascinating city with a variety of stunning attractions. These include Gaudi’s impressive Sagrada Familia cathedral, the street artists along Las Ramblas, the Picasso Museum, the Gothic Quarter, Park Guell and the incredible Nou Camp stadium.

Other recommendations in the region include the Dali Museum in Figueres, the famous monastery at Montserrat and wine tasting at a traditional vineyard. If its thrills and action that you are looking for, then the fantastic Port Aventura amusement park might be just the answer. Closer still, the popular WaterWorld park is a great way to cool down (May-September only).

Where to Stay

Costa Brava hotels

Comfortable resort hotels are available along the coast north of Barcelona in Lloret de Mar, Tossa de Mar, Calella and Santa Susanna. Rooms, all en-suite, are usually allocated for 3 players, with twin rooms available for adults. With plenty of choice, food is buffet style in the hotel restaurants. All the hotels have an outdoor swimming pool; bar; TV room and usually evening entertainments in high season.
