The Skiing

Stunning skiing here includes the slopes of the World Cup night slalom in Planai, Hauser Kaibling at the summit of the four mountain chairlift and the Reiteralm – the training centre for the Austrian elite. There are 230km of perfectly groomed slopes in the Schladming-Dachstein domain alone.

Where to stay

Mountain Hostel

The Mountian Hostel is situated in Ramsau am Dachstein, just 15 minutes from Schladming. All bedrooms have private facilities and there is a games room, a comfortable lounge and meeting space. Simple hostel accommodation is also available, with the option of sole occupancy for our groups. Either way, you’ll have easy access to the super skiing and après-ski of this popular region.

What They Say

The hotel location was fantastic, particularly for skiers of a reasonable ability, being able to ski from door to door. As the week went on more children were able to ski from the door. The ski instructors were very good.
