There are plenty of alternative excursion opportunities in the region including the fabulous new Therme Amadé aqua park in Altenmarkt.

We can arrange visits to the nearby salt mines, toboggan run, ice caves and Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest at Berchtesgaden, whilst no tour would be complete without an excursion to Salzburg to see the famous castle, Mozart’s birthplace and ‘Sound of Music’ scenes locations.

Salzburger accommodation

The comfortably furnished Sport Hotel Ennstalerhof in Altenmarkt is specially designed to cater for youth groups and offers a high standard of accommodation. The hotel boasts its own indoor swimming pool, cinema, disco, climbing room, 3 TV rooms, gym and table tennis rooms. There is also a football pitch, beach volleyball and tennis court within the grounds. The hotel is about a 10 minutes walk from the centre of the village.
