Prato Nevoso is the ideal resort for beginners and intermediates, with uncrowded slopes and wide long runs. With new links to Artesina and Fabrosa Soprana the three resorts now make up the Mondole ski area with 130km of pistes.

The Skiing

Prato Nevoso is the home of the Italian snowboard club, therefore the snowpark is rated as one of the best in Italy. Beginners are well catered for here with long blue runs gently meandering down. Artesina is where you’ll find some great red runs for the intermediates. The lift system is very convenient with the closest being next to the hotel.

Where to stay

Hotel Galassia

The 3 star Hotel Galassia is in a great location at the top of the village right on the slopes offering doorstep skiing. It is a 20 mins walk to the town but the hotel mini bus can be used to ferry guests down during the day if needed. All rooms have en-suite facilities. The hotel boasts its own swimming pool, Jacuzzi and games room.
