Millfield is a name that is synonymous with sport and is recognised as one of the top swimming clubs in the country. The roster of Olympians and professional sportspeople that the school has developed is quite remarkable - Millfield swimming has had a swimmer at every Olympics since 1968 including champions Duncan Goodhew, Mark Foster, and more recently James Guy. Millfield is equipped with the most impressive swimming training facilities, with a 50m Olympic pool built to FINA/AASA standards. The pool also has full water polo facilities to European standards.

The Swimming Package

Here at Absolute Sports Travel we’ve been looking after sports teams on tour for 30 years now since way back in 1992.

Your swim tailor-made training camp package will typically include;

On-site accommodation, and choice of number of nights
Full board (breakfast, lunch, dinner) catering for dietary requirements
Swimming pool training sessions, typically twice daily
Land training sessions, use of gym, & fitness facilities
Flight or coach transportation with local transfers as required
Possible excursions and local entertainments
Meet & greet and local representation

Millfield accommodation

Our visiting groups and teams stay on site in one of the boarding houses at the senior school campus in Street or the Prep School in Glastonbury nearby. Most provide sole occupancy for groups with approximately 50 beds in each. Some have a mix of en-suite single rooms and standard twins and others have small dormitory accommodation with shared facilities, kitchenette and common room. All our groups stay on full board basis with fabulous food perfectly adapted to sports teams, served in the spacious and airy restaurant.
