Your Activity and Enrichment week package

We will work with you to build an activity and excursion programme to suit the requirements, budget and aspirations of your group. Supervised instructed activities can include white water rafting, canyoning, high ropes, paddleboarding and kaying. We can also offer guided walks and bike excursions as well as the Lucky Flitzer ride and the Therme Amade waterpark. What's more, enjoy both educational and cultural elements to your trip by adding a visit to the Salt Mines and an excursion to Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart and a city filled with the sights from the Sound of Music. Excursions & Visits

There are plentiful wonderful excursion opportunities in the region. We can arrange visits to the nearby salt mines, ice caves and Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest at Berchtesgaden of course. What's more no tour would be complete without an excursion to Salzburg to see the famous castle, Mozart’s birthplace and locations from the ‘Sound of Music’ movie. Groups love the fabulous indoor and outdoor waterpark experience at the 'Therme Amadé' in Altenmarkt and the Lucky Flitzer toboggan run is always a popular evening activity too.

Travel

The region is approximately 15 hours by coach from Calais and 1-2 hours transfer by coach from nearby airports including Salzburg and Munich.

Where to stay

Hotel Ennstalerhof, Altenmarkt

The comfortable, extended and refurbished Youth Sport Hotel Ennstalerhof is a haven for school groups and many of groups return year after year. The hotel boasts a super sports hall, a small indoor swimming pool, cinema room, disco, climbing wall, TV rooms, gym and table tennis room. The hotel is about 10 minutes walking distance from the centre of the village and the Therme Amade aquapark and only a short transfer to many of the local activities.

Hotel Oberwimm, Wagrain

The Youth Hotel Oberwimm is directly next to the Flying Mozart gondola in Wagrain. It is about 10 minutes walking distance from the centre of the town. This popular youth sports accommodation has invested hugely in its facilities, making it an awesome choice for school groups. Groups can enyoy the sports hall, games rooms, indoor football/basketball court, disco and meeting space. All the bedrooms are for 4-6 sharing with en-suite shower and toilet and a full board package is offered to all our groups.
