Football tour to Papendal training centre

Papendal Sports Centre

Just west of Arnhem, set amidst the beautiful forests of the Veluwe National Park, the Papendal Sports Centre of the Dutch Olympic Sports Federation has been hosting football teams from around the world since the 1970s. The youth and senior teams of Dutch professional club Vitesse Arnhem use this as a training base throughout the season.

The Football Package

The Papendal National Sports Centre has a total of eight football fields, five of which are used as a base by the first team and Academy of Vitesse Arnhem. You will be able to hold your own training sessions here, use meeting rooms for tactical analysis and enjoy professional coaching sessions on request, and subject to availability. Papendal is the largest elite sports complex in Holland and boasts outstanding sports training facilities for a multitude of sports. By enjoying the outstanding facilities here, you will be joining top teams who have stayed here in recent years including Barcelona, Benfica, Rangers and Spurs.

Travel

Packages are arranged with coach travel throughout from door to door. Flight tours are possible with flights available from the UK into Amsterdam. All football match and excursion transfers are included as required.

Excursions & Visits

Your tour package can be tailored to suit your requirements, and can include various optional local excursions and activities. An excursion to Amsterdam is a popular addition and match tickets can be organised in season.

There are 3 levels of accommodation at the centre as follows:

Budget level hostel-style accommodation in simple standard bedrooms

Simple hotel rooms for 2-4 persons with en-suite facilities

3 star hotel level in twin en-suite rooms.
