North Limburg Cup

This is a superb annual Pentecost weekend end of season football tournament in south-east Holland. Games are held in Gennep and nearby Groesbeek close to the border with Germany. Teams from around Europe participate each year in this excellent event.

Tournament Information

The tournament will be played in accordance with FIFA and KNVB rules.

Group matches are played on the Saturday, with placement matched and final on the Sunday. Each day matches are typically grouped in the morning or afternoon, allowing time for possible excursions or other activities.

Excursions & Visits

The PSV Philips stadium in Eindhoven is an excellent tour with an informative guided visit. For thrill-seekers, the theme parks of Efteling and Phantasialand are always a popular day out.

Travel

Door to door coach travel packages are included for this football tournament. Flights packages are also available with departures possible to Holland from many UK airports.

Sample Itinerary

Friday - Morning departure for journey to Holland. Check in to accommodation, with free time at leisure.

Saturday - First day of tournament matches (matches are normally grouped either am or pm). Rest of the day at leisure. Possible football stadium tour or theme park excursion if time allows.

Sunday - Conclusion of the tournament. Finals and presentations. Rest of the day at leisure. Possible football stadium tour or theme park excursion if time allows.

Monday - Depart and journey home.

Where to stay

Center Parcs

There are Center Parcs resorts of Limburgse Peel, Het Heijderbos and Het Meerdal all ideally located in the region of the football tournaments grounds. Each has an indoor Aqua Mundo tropical pool and numerous other on site activities.

Cottage accommodations are typically available for between 2 - 12 persons depending on the resort.

Hotel Nobis Asten

The 4 star Hotel Nobis is well located for the tournament venues and offers an excellent level of accommodation. The hotel features a health club with an indoor pool, sauna and fitness facilities. Triple and quad rooms are available for players with twins and single rooms for staff.

Group Accommodation & Hostels

We are able to offer a selection of modern hostel and group accommodation options in the area. Depending on the size of your group, these can sometimes be offered with sole occupancy. Typically multi-bed rooms for players, with twin rooms for staff.
