It’s easy to immerse yourselves in the culture and history of the region here. Visit the sights of Verona including the Roman Arena and the balcony made famous from Romeo and Juliet. Take a ride up the Funicolare di Castel San Pietro cable railway for the best views over the city. A boat trip around the lake is a lovely local excursion and can include stops at Sirmione Castle, Desenzano and Lasize.

The fantastic Gardaland amusement park is always a popular excursion day for groups. What’s more, if its thrills in the water that you are after, then the CanevaWorld theme park (May-September only) will be a fun day out for everyone. Evening fun can be organised in the region at the Benacus amusement centre where there are plenty of games, karting and arcades.

Other Excursions

Enjoy a day trip to Venice and experience the picture-postcard sights of this incredible city. Take a boat trip along the Grand Canal - or even a private gondola – and see St Mark’s Square, the Basilica and the Rialto Bridge. What’s more, we can organise cookery classes, pasta making and wine tasting for a real taste of the local culture and cuisine.

A day trip to Milan allows free time to see the Duomo cathedral or impressive San Siro stadium. But you can also enjoy the glitz and glamour of the shops and boutiques of this chic and fashionable city.

Simple mobile home units sleep 4 or 5 persons. As well as a private beach onto the lake, there is a large swimming pool on site (open May–Sept only). Other leisure facilities include tennis courts, basketball, table tennis and windsurfing. There is a supermarket and bar/restaurant too.
