After its refurbishment in recent years, the football training centre at Lievin is now even better than ever before! It’s only an hour or so away from Calais. Perfect for a football training camp at any time of year, there are both grass and artificial fields on site where the regional Academies also train. Lievin adjoins the football crazy town of Lens and is located an hour from Lille and just a couple of hours from Paris.

The Football Package

You will be able to hold your own training sessions, use meeting rooms for tactical analysis and enjoy professional coaching sessions on site at the Lievin centre or at the nearby RC Lens training ground, subject to availability. A stadium tour of the OS Lille Stade Pierre Mauroy can also be arranged.

Travel

Packages are arranged with coach travel from door to door throughout your tour. The training centre is just an hour or so from Calais. All football match and excursion transfers are included as required.

Excursions & Visits

Your tour package can be tailored to suit your requirements, and can include various optional local excursions and activities including the local swimming pool or a guided tour of LOSC Lille's Pierre Mauroy stadium.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1 - Depart from your club early morning for journey to Dover. Check into your accommodation during the afternoon at the football training complex in Lievin. Orientation on arrival. Field time for your own training on site. Evening dinner (first meal). Use of meeting room if required.

Day 2 - Breakfast. Field time for your own training sessions on site at Lievin. Lunch. Afternoon training session and match preparation. Late afternoon friendly match against local opposition. Dinner. Evening de-brief.

Day 3 - Breakfast. Morning excursion to Lille for stadium tour. Lunch. Afternoon field time for match preparation. Late afternoon friendly match against local opposition. Dinner. Evening de-brief.

Day 4 - Breakfast. Morning field time. Check out of accommodation. Lunch. Afternoon departure for journey back to Calais for ferry crossing and onward journey back home.

Twin and multi-bed rooms are available in the refurbished sports complex (3*** hotel standard bedrooms). All rooms have en-suite facilities.
